If you live in a bareland or common lot strata development, the Town does NOT provide the strata development with road maintenance, snowplowing, street signs and lighting. Such services are the responsibility of your Strata Council.

For garbage collection, bareland strata developments are automatically included in the Town's residential garbage collection program. For garbage collection in common lot strata developments, garbage collection may be arranged through the Town either by the individual homeowner or by the Strata Council, depending on how the strata is set up with respect to responsibility to make garbage collection arrangements. For specific questions about garbage collection service to strata developments, please contact our staff at finance@viewroyal.ca or 250-479-6800.
